Provides external customer intellectual search service projects and services. Analyzes scientific and technical data from electronic sources, catalogs, inventories, chemical libraries, customer orders, and documents to perform patent searches. Serves as a resource regarding technical, policy, and procedural matters related to quoting search projects for customers, and performing prior-art, patentability, and other searches. Responsible for performing the intellectual effort for the CAS Search Service projects and services related to enhanced patent searching services in chemistry and related sciences provided to external customers by performing structure, literature and sequence searches for Chemical, BioTech and Pharmaceutical Companies and IP Law firms.
Accountable for profitable achievement of sales objectives associated with existing business revenue growth and new business acquisition in an assigned territory by identifying opportunities to grow, retain, cross-sell, upsell, and penetrate the customer utilizing the product portfolio and services; and strategically prospecting into target accounts, seeking to secure qualified meeting opportunities. Identifies new customer opportunities, tracks selling activities, and manages contact information for sales prospects and existing customers. Delivers sales presentations and collects information about existing and prospective customers to assist in the development of marketing plans. Partners with internal subject matter expert functions throughout the sales process to advance opportunities.
The Customer Success IP sales team ensures that our IP customers have positive, differentiated experiences across all our products and services, resulting in increased customer retention, upsell opportunities and partnership as a preferred vendor. The Sr. Customer Success Manager ensures that assigned EMEA patent offices and selected government customers realize the full value of CAS solutions. This role identifies opportunities for growth by building deeper and wider relationships.
